Oak timbers - Part 2 

During the restoration work

Once the timbers have been jet washed and allowed to dry naturally over a couple of days we start on
the painstaking part where we carefully restore the timbers by hand.

To maintain the original hand crafted appearance we must carry out all of the restoration work by hand so no mechanical tools can be used and it is just down to using the sand paper by hand, so you get plenty of blisters and splinters.
